Refractory brick with SiO2 over 93%, is called silica brick. The product is acid refractory material. It has strong points on resistance to acid slag, high temperature strength. Silica brick is used in coke oven, soaking pit, glass kiln,etc. It is always used in thermal support parts of hot blast furnace.
